Bike #2 was waiting for us at the airport, in basically the same condition we left the house. The walk from LAX Terminal 6 to the International Terminal with 2 bike boxes, a large duffel bag, 2 handlebar bags and 2 backpacks was an obstacle course filled with completely oblivious people staring into their handheld devices.

Checking in with Air New Zealand was a breeze. They even took care of the paperwork for our Australian visa application!

Now it’s time for a meal and relaxing before we board. We’re only 19 hours away from finally being there.
